From standing tall as a tree to lying low as a floor, wood offers a superior natural element to any home or commercial space. It is one of few places where “rustic elegance” is not an oxymoron. When sanded and stained, wood gleams and glistens as the distinct, natural patterns in the grain of each board are revealed. Every floor refinishing project we undertake is replete with precautions, attention to details and expert workmanship.

Protecting a homeowner’s furniture, walls, doors, adjacent spaces, and electronics is accomplished with plastic, tape, brown paper, and other materials to safely prevent dust penetration anywhere except inside our vacuum suction devices.

Floor sanders are heavy and powerful, and it takes extensive experience to maneuver them correctly.

Stain is applied only after removing every dust morsel with tack cloths and other methods. Spreading the stain product is an exercise in thin coatings with accuracy to assure the precise level of light or dark the homeowner wants.

Like the chic and contemporary nature of NoHo’s small slice of the Big Apple, these wood floors evoke style, grace, and rustic elegance.
